This is a repeat breeding between Marcie (Labradoodle) of Old Mission Retrievers and Cuba (Silken Windhound X Cocker Spaniel) of Mandala dogs. Marcie is Lucy's daughter, and Lucy is the foundation female for Old Mission Retrievers. Cuba is the foundation male of Mandala Dogs in Grand Rapids, owned by Amy Townsend, a friend and fellow CDP breeder.
Puppies will be medium sized ( 30-50 pounds) as adults, with a variety of coat types from short to long to furnished with low shedding qualities. We will DNA test after birth to determine which coat each puppy has and make matches based on family preferences. See below for photos of the previous litter.
Puppies are expected in November, ready to go home early to mid January
Cost is $2,000. Refundable $500 deposits will be accepted based on order of accepted applications after puppies are born.

This litter will be registered with CDR and will meet all of the criteria for CDR Verification.

We hope to share more of Cuba's high intelligence and low arousal, along with Marcie's enthusiasm, love of snuggling, and their combined passion for retrieving, swimming, and working with their handlers.
Cuba is Amy's main class demo dog for group classes, and enjoys hiking swimming, competing in rally, and training foundations in freestyle obedience.
Marcie was originally trained as a public access service dog for a young handler, who now has quite a different set of needs. Marcie has retired from that assignment, and loves acting as a therapy dog for massage therapy and therapeutic yoga patients. She assigned herself the job of stabilizing her favorite yoga patients when they need assistance. (Photo shared with permission)
There will likely be two guardian home opportunities for friends local to either program who are willing to keep a dog intact for future evaluation.
